Short term work
This type of work is typically solution focused. Some examples of this are anger management issues, phobia, sleep problems, obsessive compulsive disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, work related stress and sometimes even depression and anxiety. Though it is important to note that where there are underlying issues, longer term work may nevertheless be indicated
Long term work
Typically, this means a therapy of one year or more. Where the issues are related to repeating negative experiences in relationships, poor self-image, lack of confidence, sexuality or age-related crisis the need for longer term work is generally indicated.
